Just a question regarding the variety of patterns some anglers use. It's a thought that struck me when I was surfing the web and came across this fabulous site: www.troutnut.com/specimen/662I have no connections with it. Just thought it might be of interest to other forum members. To the question then..... Is it preferable to use a rough representation as opposed to a true to life pattern? After all, in fast broken water, the fish only get a quick look and have to decide whether to take the item or not. I'd be interested in others opinions.
